Another thing that makes this band so different from others is the way that they relate and connect to their fans. They really really seem to have an respect for their fans and go out of their way to make them happy. I was so lucky enough to meet Ryan, Jeremy, CB and Matt during a meet and greet before their Pittsburgh, Pa show in May, 2009. They were really so friendly and nice. I thought it would be kind of formal but they were really nice and so easy to talk to.

I have never really took an active part in telling others about music I like because well, I never really had the urge to do that. I am a mom and too busy with other things to do anything like that and really just used music to fill up the quiet and drown out cranky kids at times. After I discovered Blue October and started listening to their ealier albums, they got me hooked. Their music is more than just music or a song to fill the quiet or pass time. Their music is an art, every single member of that band adds so much. I found myself wanting to share this wonderful gem I found with others, spread the emotion, the art that they create. I then joined the Blue October Fancorps and decided to make this page as well. I would love for everyone to have the opportunity to discover the greatness of Blue October.
